MLT Resolutions provides professional supervised visitation that supports meaningful parent-child contact while maintaining clear boundaries, consistent oversight, and full compliance with California court orders and applicable statewide standards for professional supervised visitation providers.
Visits may take place in appropriate community settings and may include age-appropriate activities, provided the setting allows for effective supervision and compliance with the court order.
Our approach is attentive, neutral, and professional. We observe, monitor, and enforce boundaries, document when appropriate, and intervene when necessary, all while keeping the parent-child interaction at the center of the visit.
Michael Tarkington has over 20 years of legal experience and nearly a decade of mediation expertise. He specializes in supporting survivors of domestic violence, advocating for children, and assisting military families with civil matters. Michael has facilitated mediations for various civil disputes, including small claims, civil harassment, and unlawful detainers, and has worked on labor-management disputes and workplace conflicts.
Michael holds a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from Champlain College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from San Francisco State University. He is certified in mediation from the Family Resolution Institute and Steven Rosenberg.
